Great read Leesh, good to see you found it within you to keep going. Your progress pic shows the results of your determination.. good stuff!

In regards to the statement about creatine...

It's apparent effects are very closely tied in to how much muscle mass you're currently carrying. Keeping in mind that creatine doesn't affect subcutaneous water. So, the more muscle you already have, the more pronounced the effect of supplemented creatine will be. Water gain (muscle cell saturation) isn't always an effect of creatine use.. I'm a non-responder in that regard. However the relative strength increases seen with it are awesome. It's quite an 'individual' supplement.. It will definitely help you to reach your goals if you're comfortable using it.

And it won't take away the 6 pack either :)

Fantastic work, keep it up!

Didn't lock out the 110 deadlift; hopefully next week. I know I can do it. I'm happy anyway as I weigh 55kg at the moment, so double bodyweight dl come at me!

47.5 bench and 110 deadlift are equal PBs following an infraspinatus tear a couple of months ago that rendered Leesh unable to sleep let alone move her arm in certain positions without excruciating pain. This forced Leesh to rehabilitate the mobility in her shoulder and start from scratch again, with basically all exercise whilst the tissue healed. Her technique is consequently much better now, particularly on bench press, and most importantly, pain free.

Congratulations on getting back there and on your way to smashing these old PBs with some new ones. Exciting times ahead.

Squats are improving! Now to solve world hunger..

Yes but at the expense of technique... I have this issue with my right knee bending in as I'm coming up from the squat, was particularly bad tonight.. The 60's were shocking

    • This could be sold and shipped to the US for many gold pieces. RMS has no say in that. Ask various Western Sydney inhabitants how it works.
    • Ha ha ha, mine loves to spend, all on the dogs (they're our kids, and her spending would likely rival that of some people raising children!) the only benefit is, her spending is tax deductible as she runs a business in the dog industry 😛 The above all means she can spend race car budget quicker than I can. 😛 That and a lot of the things I want are very expensive, and I can be a bit "you want how much for that?!" And at other times overly impulsive. Or I start the w days of research, get to day 1.5 and get really annoyed that no one will advertise actual specifics and it's just marketting BS and I go "well, now I don't want anything to do with that now!" Also I hate paying lots of money for something I can make from $50 in materials. Then I get the shits halfway through making things and wonder why others who just buy parts have more fun... 😛
    • Their 240Z with the RB26 would be a real nice thing to have in a garage to come out for an occasional weekend cruise It's such a cool thing in so many ways Sadly, we have a blue 240Z shell that I walk past every day, just sitting outside a shed at work, it has been slowly disintegrating and falling apart into the ground for the last few years, the owner cannot be found, and I am unable to "claim it" I've been told by work and the RMS, the rust in the body is excessive though, and it has had most of the salvageable stuff, like panels, trim and switch gear stripped off it over the last year or two, work keeps threatening to put it in one of our metal scrap bins, I wish they did though, as it makes Mark sad walking past it
    • Good tips, I like it! 😂😂 My wife is a LOT more frugal than me so it's only me we need to worry about! A splurge to her is buying 2 pairs of socks in one visit at Kmart!
    • Haha, the appropriate response to the question "Is this new?" is "I've had this for a while.". With the unspoken small print that a while may be the time since this morning or five years ago   And to be fair I learned that from the best, i.e. my wife. Because it goes both ways.
