So changed the head gasket on my NEO in my R31. First crank starts up but runs extremely lumpy, ignition timing was also out on the cas from the original timing. Redid timing and still running really rough, almost seems to be fuel starved running some start ya bastard through the intake made it run much better.

I think it is something fairly simple but my brain is not working. Any ideas?

Changed the head gasket as in put in a new stock one, or put in an aftermarket one?
