Sorry but are these legal? Herd that you can't have gauges in the way of your vision ect.

I think the rule is the gauges can't be in the impact zoned driver or passenger during a crash (ie. possible to hit your head, arms etc on - for example, on the pillar or dashboard.)

A gauge that isn't in your field of vision is a pointless gauge! Plus, lots of new cars coming with HUD so that would seem an inconsistent law.

Different states, different legal road rules

You need them set up correctly under specific heights and not protruding more than certain amount across the windscreen, not 100% on measurements.

Its the same as have windscreen banners within the wiper arc you can be done for with $130 fine for obscuring your view
