6.5 Component Speaking In A R34 Front And Rear

i was wondering if anyone has put 6.5 component speakers in the doors and in the rear of a r34 gt-t and if so what did you use for the rear speakers they dont seem to fit. from the looks of it i need a riser plate to install. i am using phoenix gold XENON 6.5 components

If you haven't already purchased the speakers, I wouldnt worry about the rear set.

Leave the factory units in there. Run them off the headunit, dial the balance to the front speakers. (eg, Front 8, Rear 2)

Instead of spending your money on 4 speakers, spend twice as much on the front splits and run them off an amp. Your front stage is going to give you the bulk of your listening pleasure, you're better off focusing your money buying the best pair of splits your budget allows. The rear is only for fill, or backseat passengers - and if you've got a coupe, then chances are they won't be all that comfortable anyway!
