Ultra Racing Tension Rod Brace

Hey guys,

Has anyone used an ultra racing tension rod/castor rod brace on a cefiro ?

Im wondering how they bolt up as the only photo I can find shows it bolted between the castor rod brackets but not utilizing the castor rod bolts themselves.

Any info is appreciated

I think they do use the caster rod bolts. The ends of these braces are like a cup washer that just goes to the inner end of the rod bolts. There's not really anywhere else to attach anything like this to the car.

Just want to confirm how it does bolt up in case its not worth getting and just get a cusco one instead

Well, that's clearly not the same as the Cusco etc ones. That doesn't even look like a normal Cefiro either. There is checker plate welded onto the bottom of the outriggers, and the brace appears to be attached to extra plates that have also been welded onto the outriggers.

All the other brands I've seen that go onto Nissan S and R chassis (and by extension, Cefiros) connect as I described before. This one won't fit onto anything that's already on the car, as far as I can see.

Was interested to know, as the cusco brace looks quite flimsy - essentially the same as the old just jap ones as opposed to the ultra racing brace.
