hey guys,

Am in the midst of a whole car suspension/brake upgrade at the moment and haven't had any luck finding urethane aftermarket front sway bar bushes. i've pulled one out and its 21mm ID with a ridge down the curved section of the bush. Does anyone know if they use the same bush as an s13/s14/s15/r33/r34/a31? or where to get them

cheers

Whiteline should be able to do the job. I'll assume you mean mounting bushes which resemble a D?

Have you already upgraded your sway bars? If not i would be doing that at the same time.

yea man talking about the ones which mount up to the castor rod bracket that are shaped like a D. yea i was looking into the whiteline sway bars but have heard from a few people that the build quality is pretty average.

what size swaybars do you run?

"Build quality pretty average"

What drugs are these people on? How the hell can the build quality be "average"?

The fact is the Whiteline bars are a perfectly good product available in useful sizes and with some extra features that you can choose to buy or not buy as the fancy takes you (these would be the heavy duty end links on the heavier adjustable bars). Sure, they are heavier than some other brands because they are solid......but then you don't pay $600 each for them either.

Exactly as above, they are solid and sure they are heavier but they do work very well and for the price you cant go past them.
I currently have the same as the sydneykid group buy 24mm adjustable front and 22mm adjustable rear, however that is different from car to car, i suggest you look that up for a rough guide on what works for your car.

    • Evening fam, Pretty much what the title asks, I have looked all over and can’t find a proper answer expect one post from almost a decade ago which is vague. ive seen photos and they look pretty much identical, would an r33 GTR N1 reo work on an r32? reason I ask is they are cheaper to buy… $700 compared to 1k+ for an r32 n1 reo

    • Yeah was thinking that. I've had the car go lower idle possibly around 650rpm every once in a long time after pouring fuel and would sound quite rough like a misfire, almost like it's shit fuel or something but who knows.

Great event last year and hoping for the same this year.    I've emailed them to ask to set a location aside for the Stageas for the show and shine - they are happy to do so if we can get them numbers, I'm happy to keep track of that. Entering as Nismo category.    I'll be road tripping up from Melbourne, would be cool to convey if people are interested, maybe there is SAU convoys from each capital? If you have ideas about that let me know.    https://gtrfestival.com.au
