ok so just to clarify if i bring my mate and kathryn, she can sit and watch and he can be passenger and maybe even do a few laps or just one at a time in car?

Your mate will have to pay $50 as the $35 for guests only apply to passengers I believe, and I'd say QR would have a 1 passenger only rule. Correct me if I am wrong at all.

Zac if your mate wants to drive your car he just pays $35 as a members +1 but if he brings his own car it's $50. I believe qr let's you have as many passengers as you like.

The rules for happy laps are getting very strict. I went to a happy laps at Lakeside on Saturday with the Qld Evo Owners Group, they weren't to go over 120k & they were checking on this by having someone on the track at all times with them speed checking. Plus QR are ment to breathe test every driver now before they hit the track.

Breath testing is a non issue, anyone who is having grog before 11am on a saturday probably should be getting behind the wheel of a car to do laps at a track. Maybe a very large night the night before may still show a reading come 11am.

Which is still a non issue because you just don't drink alot the night before

Yeah I realise the breathe testing shouldn't be an issue but the for those guys expecting to have a red hot go on the straights the 120 limit might be a bummer.

Well thats a little bit of a let down I thought the hole point of happylaps was to be able to do more then we are allowed on the roads (within reason)

Agreed on the 120kmph! In saying that powercruise have a "strict" 110 or 120 kmph down the straight. I and many other cars get 180+ and dont hear a thing

And you think they keep to that speed limit at power cruise. Yeah right. They line up the straights to do drags.

Yeah I have done happy laps with SAU, MCM, Qld Evo Owners & this was the first time I have heard the briefing like it was Saturday.

LAME.... considering its 110 on the highway 120 really isn't much of a speed.
