I don't really want to slap a pod filter in but would a highflow pannel filter be worth it?

I was going to slap a nice big cold air intake in and cut a hole out the bottom of the std airbox along with some pvc piping that feeds down in to the front bumper but faced in the opposite direction as not to get a direct pickup for water.???

Kinda Hijacked your thread sorry :P

the improvements youll feel with the pod filter will depend on how badly designed the std airbox is. some are better than others. im not sure with R33's, however if you get a pod filter make sure you do the cold-air partition cos sucking in hot air from the engine bay is NOt going to help performance!
