drgtr7
Hks 2530's running 20 psi. Can't get my car to boost cleanly throughout the gears , and i have no idea why. When i run 16 psi or 1 bar, no problems. As soon as I flick my eboost street to my other setting (20psi) it does this... Does anyone have any ideas or solutions? Workshop is telling me that i need new actuators... All pipes are tight, no leaks whatsoever. Runs like a champ on 16psi, but cant get it to run properly or boost properly on 20 psi. Keeps giving me that flick back Any feedback or advice greatly appreciated. Frosty
more information required. What ecu? Injectors? it could be actuators but it seems more like a boost or fuel cut Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/429218-r33-gtr-running-20-psi-boost-issues-video-inside/#findComment-6944143 Share on other sites
drgtr7
Power fc Sard 800cc Bosch 044 fuel pump Actuators where actually set at 7psi but wasn't making more then 300rwkw, then we adjusted them 16.5 psi. To see the full amount of 365rwkw Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/429218-r33-gtr-running-20-psi-boost-issues-video-inside/#findComment-6944296 Share on other sites

hy_rpm
If it is a miss which sounds like it is as it only comes on high boost ill try the easy and cheapest solution first New set of spark plugz gapped to 0.7mm then if there still problems either the coils or wiring but I doubt it Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/429218-r33-gtr-running-20-psi-boost-issues-video-inside/#findComment-6944742 Share on other sites
drgtr7
Spark plugs have beeb done 2 weeks ago, so I think some new coil packs should be arranged. drgtr7
Issue might be sorted. Problem is faulty solenoid. Using an mbc now. Will report back later after driving for a full day etc. Feels like it should now when it hits boost Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/429218-r33-gtr-running-20-psi-boost-issues-video-inside/#findComment-6945031 Share on other sites
drgtr7
Delayed response. But for anyone reading this. It was turbo shuffle. I recommend using standard intake pipes they are good for 350 - 4000 rwkw Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/429218-r33-gtr-running-20-psi-boost-issues-video-inside/#findComment-7207476 Share on other sites

Blackkers
so what went wrong? were you running aftermarket intake pipes that were causing a flow restriction or something Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/429218-r33-gtr-running-20-psi-boost-issues-video-inside/#findComment-7210010 Share on other sites
drgtr7
Yes, I was using hks intake pipes. My turbo's didn't like them. It would cause them to stall/shuffle. Went back to standard got a retune. Never had another issue again.
