Hicas Light?

Hi everyone

I have googled my question with no results, I was wondering if someone could tell me is it just a warning light for when its f**king up or? Reason I'm asking is the last few days on start up there is a strong hydraulic when I turn my wheels, car is booked for mechanic on tues so ill get the answer then I'm more trying to get a understanding
