What Did I Just Snap?

Hey all,

Changing the injectors in my R34 and i just snapped a hose connector off.. fml... can anyone please tell me what it was for? It was on the left of the blue cable in the photo (you can see where it snapped)

Ive snapped one of those before, have no clue of its purpose assuming its some sort of vacuum, I just q-bonded it back on and ran a drill bit through it with my hands to make sure I didnt glue the hole shut

Good tip thanks, im a bit hesitant about using glue without knowing what it is though

It looks like a boost solenoid. Follow the hoses and see where they go.

Glue the broken barb back on, or find another one.

From what I can tell it makes no difference to running. Just reduces pollution.

Ordered one in and while I was waiting I grabbed a 2nd hand one from a performance shop over here .
