Traction Tyres have been really good for all my suspension work, both the GT-T and R

the installation i would imagine can be done anywhere, but the alignment is what you want to make sure is done properly.

Traction Tyres is in rowville, but probably only 30mins from moorabbin. Straight down north/wellington rd, turn left at stud i think, right into Kellets. you're there.

They look after a lot of SAU cars

car tech in dandy for alignment or the above ^

install it your self ?

unbolt oil lines, cut the hard lines then loop an oil hose on it, remove rods from hicas rack by clamping it on a vice bench and removing with a big shifter .

install rods on lock bar, bolt it up , top up power steering oil and get an alignment

Yeah I wouldn't recommend doing it unless you're not too far from a tyre place that can align it... When I did mine my Rear Tow was out by something like 25mm? Not extreme, but not great for tyre life either ;)

If its aligned by eye, it should be drivable to get it done properly... Problem is most of the ebay ones are a bit out, most aren't 100% the same...

It won't drive straight until I get it aligned though will it? So it'll be a pain to get anywhere to get it aligned

its not that bad. its a funny feeling though when its all out of wack. just drive it slow.

If you want it all fitted up i think racepace supply and fit and they are top quality bars from what i hear, nice blokes too

Most of them have got a basic jig made up, they hook the two brackets over pegs measured out at the right distance, lay the bar across it and get welding... Normally the brackets are a mm or so out in a random direction, but because of the pegs the bolts still fit fine, and the variation can be adjusted back out with an alignment.
