Location Of Pod

Recommended Posts

At calder yesterday i was talking to a guy who was driving a 11 sec lancer evo 4 while we were lining up along the pits and he was saying that hes got hes r33 currently being built with new wofl comp, fmic, injectors, turbo etc and that he is gonna have hes pod placed in the location of where the stock cooler sits while using the stock cooler holes to pass the piping through.

Seems like a god idea but i am wondering if much water and dirt would get onto the pod being in that location.

yes the pod would be completely soaking wet and useless if he drove it in the rain. If he's doing that just for the drags then no problems...

the other problem with increasing the length of the intake pipe is a decrease in throttle response.

have u got yer car dyno tuned yet?

thats what i was thinking 2, but he was like na u gotta get cold air into the pod!

na gotta wait till sat to get it tuned at race pace!!
