"r" On The Start Of A Gtr Engine Number!? Is It A N1 Block!

Anyone come across an engine number on a Gtr block starting with "R" then the numbers then A ?? I heard if the block has 24u on it.. It's a nur r34 n1 block.. Anyone confirm that? It does have n1 turbos on it..

All GTR Engine Blocks have the digits starting off with the digits RB26......, Michael.

Underneath the front of the block on the turbo side you'll see 24U stamped/embossed there indicating it's an N1 block.

Yes, 24U if it's an N1 block otherwise 005 if its a standard RB26 block
