Hey,

Installing a head unit in the 95 gtst i recently purchased. The constant power was not live, so I found a fuse which had blown under the steering column fuse box. When i replaced it I now have power for my head unit, but a beeping started under the dash. I have chased to to the unit in the pictures. Looks like it heads into the factory loom that hasn't been pulled apart much, So I'm thinking its a factory item. For now I have unplugged it, but would be good to know what its for.

I've looked for wiring diagrams but cannot find any apart from engine management diagrams.

Forget it, its when your keys are in and door is open

That is a standard function on a R33 - if you have the keys in the ignition and open the door then it beeps to tell you to take the keys out of the ignition.

It is common in a number of Jap cars as our Mazda's also do the same thing.
