Yer they pulled out everything. Bumpers, All windows, lights/blinkers/tail lights, door trims, basically everything.

No body kit.. I like the stocker with big fat wheels look, not that I have big fat wheels, but yer eventually.

Thanx.. I spoke to the ppls and they said to only wash it with a soft car shampoo, he said not to use any car wash etc with wax or uv protectants for 6 weeks. The paint has to breath and harden properly.

The car was painted using PPG paints and was baked under Infra-red lights which is supposed to give a harder paint with higher gloss etc.

I thought the clay bar should only be used about once a year to strip the surface of contaminants back to the clear coat. I have used the megiuars one. U spray on some quick detailer to lubricate the surface then in a circular motion rub the clay bar in.

Nice work I have one of those and it works nicely... Don't accidentally use the other side though :Oops:

The other thing is, to fill up the bucket with detergent and water and don't stir it up with your washmitt when you dunk it back in... squeeze the washmitt a few times to dislodge the dirt off the mitt into the water and to pickup some more water, but don't stir up the water and bring up the settled dirt at the bottom of the bucket.

Also wash the car from top to bottom. That is, start with the roof, then the windows/top half of doors/bonnet/boot, and then go do the bottom of the doors/bumpers/etc... Leave the dirty bits for last (bottom of the car) so you don't go waving over the rest of the car.

Make sure you wash your washmitt VERY thorougly after you're done and get all the dirt out of it.

Sorry if you know all this, I thought I'd say it just in case cos I know you'll want to make sure your paintwork stays in top condition

Zaino is good... Very durable, but it doesn't have the depth of shine as the other carnauba waxes that I listed on the first page.

Usually Zaino users are Zaino Nazis... They are so fixed on their "miracle product" that they can't see past it to realise that there are other products out there that can give a deeper shine and wetter look than their polymer-based synthetic God....

It's good, make no doubt, but you have to apply like 4+ coats to get a nice deep gloss out of it... and even still, it's not as good as one application of a good professional carnauba wax.

It does last a long time though. Excellent for those who don't like polishing and waxing their cars every 3 months.

$150 for a comprehensive top quality car care kit that will last a few years is a good price.

Considering the same thing in Meguires etc will cost you about 60-80 depending on what ones you buy and how much, that US stuff is good value for the quality your getting.

The best thing you can do is store the car in a garage with minimal dust when its not in use. Paint can fade and dull from the sun's constant abuse and its something that you dont want happening to a new paint job. Another plus is that you can wash the car less and keep it immaculate looking for longer

clay bars, lamb this, caraubo wax that... bah! I use a scotch brite thing, the green and yellow things, use the green side on my Pulsar Now THAT gets the dirt out..

Due to other cars in the garage my car stays exposed to the elements (its still locked up behind gates for the thieves reading this).

So I went out and bought an original Nissan R32 optional car cover, works a treat and is so soft on the underside... no scratching for me
