I went through all this with sensor adapters - NPT (National Pipe Thread) is the US one, and PT/BSPT (Pipe Thread/British Standard Pipe Thread) is the other one common for non-US stuff. Gets very confusing.

They are not interchangeable, so you need to make sure you have the right one.

As mentioned above all the Defi gauges are PT/BSPT, those Greddy adapter plugs on that link are PT/BSPT which I am using them at the moment for Defi oil temp & pressure. Not sure what the standard Nissan sensor is though.

Your other option is to get the plugs that come with the Greddy sandwich plate drilled and tapped. Get someone that has a jig to do it though - it's hard to do by hand.

It's quite easy to do by hand. I have done many.

1/8 BSPT.

Well the hole is critical really, drill press for a straight round hole, then tapping wouldn't be hard from there. Not many would have vice, drill press, tap + kit & oil. If you drill it by hand, hole will probably be a bit out of whack.

Or you could just buy these from here and sleep easy at night
