Few N00B Questions

Hi all,

Recently picked up a 2012 GTR.

I'll keep it short:

1: Will exhaust/air intake modification void warranty?

2: If not, then can I please have some suggestions as to exhaust and air intake. Some indicative pricing would also be great.

Catback should not, but intake will.

Those 2 mods together will likely throw codes too, with a std ecu.

Might just get the exhaust for now. Have no desire to make it quicker just yet lol...

1st suggested mod is to change the (very heavy) std midpipe to a titanium one. This will increase the exhaust volume and free up some extra HP.

The warranty situation with this mod should be ok. Some cars (mine included) have thrown codes with just this alone tho.

I've installed a Willall midpipe and HKS stock replacement airfilters. No codes, no warranty issues, nice exhaust note without drone

Sold it quite some time ago!

R35 and M3 atm....

How's the GTR going? I really miss the raw feeling of an R32. Every now and then I see a clean example on the road....

Yeah GTR is going well, Racepace just rebuilt it.

Hence why I recommend them, as there have been a few R35 GTR's that get work done there.
