Was changing my spark plugs yesterday, when the cap on this pipe snapped off. I didn't have time to find a replacement, so I just electrical taped it back on (blue electrical tape in the photo)

Anyone know what it is, and where i can get a new cap for it so it's not held on dodgily by tape lol.

I think it's been on there for so long, that it hardened and just snapped of whilst i was getting all fiddly with the spark plug change.

cheers!

Original BOV return.

Yep this!

As we suggest in 99% of threads i would be getting a plumb back BOV and fitting it as even cops that have no training in mechanical knowledge will still know too look for a shiny BOV and will have no hesitation slapping you with a defect!

As GTSBoy said, while you have a ATMO Bov, the return pipe is not needed.

You can;

A) Buy some heater hose/silicon hose the same diameter and a welsh plug to bung in the end and tighten up the hose with hose clamps or

B) Same as above but if you cannot find a welsh plug a coke bottle lid works perfect or

C) I think Bunnings sell like a "rubber cap" which you put on the bottom of table legs to stop them gauging into wooden floor, not sure if they have the size you need (that's what I would the the original one on yours is)

Thanks for the fast responses guys.

Any particular plumb back BOV's you can recommend? The atmo one came with the car when i bought it, so I've never really touched it.

Also, what's involved in installing one? Just replacing my atmo with a regular BOV (straight bolt on replacement?) and then a pipe connecting from the BOV to the return that's been blocked off in my photo?

It really is as simple as that mate!

I have a GFB Respons on mine and its good enough, i used to run the GFB stealth as it was a direct bolt on for the factory spot on the GTT, to be honest though stock will do just fine!

Or you can put a GTR one on for the flutterz lol

Tried having a quick search, but can't really find one.

Where did you get yours from?

Gonna be tough to find mine came with my valve. Check around on ebay and gumtree find someone selling that bov and if they have the adapter to sell it to you. Or if you know anyone who can weld ask them to make you one. Shouldnt be hard at all.
