Hi guys,

I've got a r32 gtst with a rb20det running gtr injectors, oem ecu, oem afm, and wasted spark ignition setup.

The problem I have Is at aprox 4300rpm it misfires really bad unless you can get it to rev past to about 5200rpm then it will pull and boost fine. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Unless you have something to compensate for the flow difference with the injectors, your fighting a loosing battle.

And here's another thread about a misfire with a wasted spark setup. Have you set the dwell to suit the coils? Did it miss before the ways spark setup went on?

Havnt adjusted anything for the new coil setup, was missing worse than this with the oem coils but they were all cracked. I had a feeling that it would be fuel related but wasn't real certain.

Awesome, what are my options? Standard injectors, aftermarket ecu, retune ecu, fuel reg?

Best option by far, is to flick the stupid wasted spark setup in favour of some new Splitfires or oem coils and to get the ECU Nistuned and tuned up nicely on the dyno. Will make 180rwkW (all else being capable) and it will only take a Z32 AFM swap and a bigger turbo (and possibly a fuel pump) to push it up over 200.

for simplicity, why not just run the stock ignition setup with new coilpacks?
