Doy You Think This 240Amp Alternator Would Fit In ?

I have a bnr32 and the motor is inside the engine bay. You think a mechanic could work his way to make this ''universal'' alternator to fit ??

It may take a bit of work but a good mechanic with good fabrication skills should be able to make it fit. Most alternators are fundamentally the same in that they have two mounting points generally directly opposite each other. They vary in thickness of the tabs on the alternator. If they're too thin you can just space them out with washers, too thick makes for a bit more work as you may need to machine down the tab. Many cars have a thinner than required tab and have a spacer anyway.

hahaha you know what I meant. of course if the engine was out, it would've been quite easy but now we have to work with tight space.

Sorry can you expand on why 240amp and why universal.?

Just trying to understand advantages etc..

Edit: (I'll have a stock OEM available in 2 weeks. Works fine and can have free of charge + postage)

Make sure the pulley belt drive matches that on the skylines balancer. Prob dont want to run a thinner belt if the alternator needs a thicker piece.

Why the hell would you need a 240amp alternator? Do you have a merry-go-round in the boot?

If you have multiple pumps and thermos an RH9 alternator will be more than enough......and bolts straight in.

Maybe he has a few hundred kg of stereo in the boot.....
