Question For S1&2 Owners

Hi all S1&2 owners, How much of a demand is there for Stagea specific gauge pods? I am currently in the process of making molds for a 2 gauge dash mount that replaces the clock, 1 that sits on the clock and a pillar mounted 1 that can be configured to single twin or triple gauge.

There are already a couple of coromandel members making pods: mearkat and fgkjoh (or something like that) spring to mind immediately.

However, neither of them make a double or triple a-pillar pod as far as I am aware...

If you can make it sit perfectly, then I'd be in for the double or triple... Already have the mearkat clock replacement pod for 2 guages.

The 1 that sits on the clock still has to be refined, but the other 2 are pretty much ready and will post pics when they are ready to take forms off them.

Call me on this if I'm wrong, but isn't the angle on the a-pillar guages way off? from the pics, it appears all the guages point towards the roof, and not the driver: in a car with lowered seats (like mine), that would make it very difficult to read them, if not impossible...

It's just the view the pic was taken from, they actually point at the driver as they are angled but not visible from that angle.

They look promising, but those a pillar gauges are pointing to high, especially the top one.

The pics don't do it justice, it's at the right angle for the driver when you are looking at them

Fgjoh seems to have disapeared off the forum totally - he was doing some clock pods and lower pillar mount pods and seemed to get loads of people interested and then disapeared - he was also making sub enclosures for the rear left on the boot - ID love someone to start making them if he has stopped

Mine will be made in bulk using vac forming and will work out a lot cheaper, if someone can pm me a postal code I can estimate shipping as I'm in the UK.

If you want to provide rough freight estimates, just use the major city postcodes, e.g.

Sydney NSW 2000

Melbourne VIC 3000 (?)

Brisbane QLD 4000

etc...

surely they'll be a good guage of cost...?
