I can imagine.

Yeah... Will hopefully find out more shortly and release our planned course of action early next week. With everything happening, not a situation that I really want to put the club in, but we shall see....

am i not a real whore?

I am internally debating this given your previous proximity to whore houses during "work hours" perhaps your more whore than all of us combined...

Tony, Is this something that will impact on the member base or something that is impacting you personally? Either way we are here to support you but this vauge shit does my head in. We are all grown adults here so shit or get off the pot.

Ok, here it is as it stands.

Scott has stepped down as VP and this sucks. This sucks because it means that there isn't someone there that I can argue with about shit and he was probably the best that the club will find for the role. Due to the legislation in the by-laws, this needs to be filled. After the shit f**king week/ month/ quarter that I've had, it's not something that I want to deal with - yet. Losing McFly was a very tough blow and honestly, I took it personally. Losing Scott as well makes things even more difficult as both of sweated and bled to bring things to where the are. I was holding off till I spoke to him this arvo, and also wanted to speak with a few other forces of influence before announcing anything but here we are.

This sucks the fat one, Thanks for telling us.

You have our full support and while no one will ever be able to fill Scott's shoes and do things the way he does someone from amoung the member base will be able to fill the role and grow into it with the support of the Club and the Past / Present Exec teams.

Ok. So what are the procedures from here?

There is a placement open for VP role lets fill it up.

Do what you need to do to find appropriate candidates for the position (easier said than done I know), then is it a matter of nominating that candidate into that role or is this carried out by the executive members??

Either way, you also have my support. Don't forget this is a club and if people truly care about it they will do something to help you.

    • I’d love to find some where that can recover the dashes to look brand new and original. Mine has a very slight bubble, nothing compared to some I’ve seen though
    • $170K. I asked one of the guys there as a joke if that price was just for the passenger seat as it was where the price sheet was... he tried really hard to crack a smile 😄 He also mentioned that every single part of the car was inspected and either restored or replaced with a new or as new part, or made from scratch. The interior was incredible, every inch like a new car.
    • Time for a modernisation, throw out the AFM, stock O2s, ECU into the e-waste bin. Rip out the cable throttle, IACV, pedal, etc. into the scrap metal bin. DBW, e-throttle, modern ECU, CANbus wideband, and the thing will drive better than when it left the factory.
    • I agree, don't go trusting those trims. As I said, first step is to put the logger away, and do the basics in diagnosis.   I spend plenty of time with data loggers. I also spend plenty of time teaching "technicians" why they need to stop using their data loggers, and learn real diagnostics.   The amount of data logs I play with would probably blow most people away. I don't just use it to diagnose. I log raw CAN data too, as a nice chunk of my job is reverse engineering what automotive manufacturers are doing.
    • I'm aware, but unless you're actually seeing the voltage the ECU is seeing and you're able to verify the sensors are actually working I find it hard to just trust STFT/LTFT. I will say, logging the ECU comes naturally to me because it's one of the lowest effort methods of diagnosis and I do similar things in my day job all the time. Staring at 20+ charts looking for something that isn't quite right isn't for everyone. NDS1 allows you to log almost everything so that's normally what I do and then sort out the data later.
