Any indication of when? What did he say about the FPR pressure?

Indication early next week

They pulled the fuel pump out and identified a small kink in the line

I told them about the FPR and Ben (I think I was speaking with a Ben  def not Sean as he was on the Dyno) put a fuel gauge on the car and he said its reading 300kpa so thats a good sign (approx 43psi)

Still need to do a few more poawa runs and hopefully its done.

Awww thats kinda sucks

Never had such a hard time b4 with mechs and tuners - everything appears to be lob sided theses days :/

well thats good.

The EFI thing is unfortunate, he would have had a tight schedule leading up to powercruise then when yours required extra work there just would not have been time to do so with out fecking everyone elses schedules to hell.

I actually feel kinda bad about recommending you go there now, but I still maintain the tuning work will be worth the wait! Sorry! :(

Not your fault mate.

I am sure Sean does good things. Which is why he is so busy too.

Bad timing appears to be my detriment.

Nothing I can do there but try to play my cards right.

A smart man told me once 'that good things take time' he knows who he is :turned:

Hopefully x all fingers and everything else the Ant-eater will be done and I will be driving it :worship:

I remember going to EFI/ERD last year just before powercruise. Let's just say insanity was an understatement. They were BURIED under work.

yep its really full on, same thing before Jambo

I've been forever pondering lately what gets prioritised through workshops / tuners

seems like FIFO is not something you can rely on as turnaround indicator

Shims are probably the reason for the squeal.  When I bought my Q50 which runs the same Akebono brakes, the previous owner had some weird pads fitted and it squealed and dusted like crazy, I bought genuine pads and when I put them in, I found all the shims missing.  With the factory pads, the dusting is much better, performance is fine, but it still squeals when cold.  A bit of grease on the back of the pads and mounting points gets rid of it, but it comes back after a while.  I have bought a genuine shim kit that I need to install when I get around to it, hopefully that will fix the squeal.
    • Highlight that row, and a bit of trial and error. Try reducing it by 25% and see if it starts, if not, go the other way. On the newer Kebabtechs that table is in VE which makes it so much easier to calibrate.
    • That's the one I have in my R32. There isn't a bigger battery that will fit an R32.
    • Not sure what you mean haha. That one doesn't fit mine but when I get sick of my one I'll get a standard one. I just gotta find a way to make it fit cause some shit is in the way.
