Mugabetown - Whoretownin' At It's Worst.

Recommended Posts

I have learnt from past mistakes I very rarely creep over the speed limit and haven't done one skid since I've had my license back

I'm just saying cos zac, I and a few others don't want to see you in hospital, lost license or your car getting crushed or totaled.

So just looking at what your talking about and it does sound like a bad idea. Also getting prepared for a turbo when your off your ps might not even happen, you might get bored, or things might happen, do what you have to do to it on your ps, you have 2 years on your ps still, that's a long time and you never know, things happen. Having a skyline comes with great responsibility, a sense of honor and you have to keep a good reputation for skylines and the club your a part of. So don't do anything stupid with your car, or make it so that police will ream you. You have to think about what your doing and not just think power, you have to think about everything and everyone else you might effect.

Hello all :)

well said Kath.....but responsibility becomes more natural as you get older and things fall into place without too much adverse effects

Thank you :) I didn't want to say that but that was my general meaning :P

Can't wait to get pulled over by cops and them not being able to ping me on anything :) haha

lol. I feel like the pink panther driving my green one - always looking over my shoulder for the blue lights and a quick exit stage left :)

Depends on what you want it for. It's all relative and depends on what you consider big numbers. Anything involving a built motor you better be ready to dump 10-20k in it. Looking at any of the engine builds on this forum you can see how they can spiral out of control. Not to mention anything that goes wrong and the time it takes to actually get it all sorted.

In saying that you could buy everything second hand slap it together and put an ebay spec turbo kit on it and crack 300kw pretty easily.

I would be looking for 400+ if that's at all possible with a dirty 30

I understand but we are still young and I admit I am stupid sometimes, like most young people do get and we make mistakes. I plan to learn quick and give skylines a better name :)

see this post.

high 300's with a gt35 and with the right manifold/exhaust can make full boost at 3500.

would i suggest that as a daily? not so much, too laggy? not really, but it is too much power for general street duties when you need wide semis just to avoid spinning 3rd when it comes on boost.

Honestly if this 31 works out, I will baby it so much and losing my license again is a bad choice I've already seen how much it f**ks with career paths, I wasn't able to get a job where I wanted til I got it back and by the time i did have it back I was already working at a dead end job until I got offered a trial at this workshop, and the accident also woke me up to pay more attention to driving I don't wanna put myself in that position where the club has to ask me to leave I know I have to behave to be part of this club and there are plenty of opportunities to be able to be more adventurous in the car I spose if you wanna say it like that. like event days where we are on a track

Nah Kath. It's far more fun to learn from mistakes lol

However, best suggestion... become good friends with an engineer will save you a lot of time :)

Thank me later. You can make that with rb25t and GTx35R - I notice there is a long motor for sale at Lewis for $1000.

I found a rb30 and gearbox for 600 close to me, just waiting to hear back from Ben
