To be honest I think only the really really religious people actually celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. To most it just a day to give presents and marks the end of a year..

For my family christmas is not a religious affair its just a family get together. That doesn't mean it doesn't have meaning.

I always laugh when christians go on about the 'true meaning of christmas'. Do some research into the origins of christmas - you'll be surprised.

Someone who WAS born on the 25th of december though was Sir Isaac Newton. Therefore 'newtonmas' is a far more appropriate thing to celebrate.
