Was hauling ~2T of racecar + trailer behind ~2T of navara, on shitty country roads most of the way, so it's not too bad I reckon. Greggo's hilux did do better, Dave's colorado did worse.

That's diesel economy for you, we tow our 6m plate alloy boat with our diesel Land cruiser and get about 15L/100ks, spoken to petrol v8 LC owners who get 20s with smaller boats. Boats are lighter than cars but at freeway speeds it's all about air resistance.
