exy on fuel, insurance more expensive, chances of having an accident also greater, and probability of been victimized by the local authorities.......imminent

Common sense is strong with this one :-)

Only cause the prestige boys chicken out because they're mad we can spend what the would spend just on their car on buying ours and modding it and pretty tieing with them

I highly doubt they are the slightest bit mad.

Ugh, don't really want rain for my rnr again

You're young n fit..............you're RnR should be working on the GTR irrespective if there is rain, hail, cyclones............shit whatever mother nature throws at you.

agreed, I'd have a super if I could afford it.

then mod it :P

I'd love to hack one up, like buy one with a blown motor gearbox electrics etc and drop drop in a turboed ls setup with a transaxle. All the go none of the repair bill when you throw a rod

    • Meh, what's the worst that can happen? If is is supposed to have a washer, and: the spring retainer seals reasonably well on the surface, maybe just allowing a little bleed of oil out, and the spring does not coil bind when compressed that little extra bit, then the end result will be slightly higher relief pressure setpoint, and no other noticeable effects.
    • Weirdly I see a flat washer on aftermarket pumps but as you said it doesn't seem like new OEM pumps have it. EPC doesn't break out the regulator as a separate component either. I'm guessing if the pump came that way it's safe to use as-is.

    • A local that insisted he learned from the best in Australia for RB builds managed to machine a head past the point of saving according to another shop and it dropped a valve too. Ghosted the customer and as far as I know nothing really happened to him. A coworker also recently told a story about owning a Porsche in Germany and running into issues with a dealer tech leaving scratches, oil stains, and missing parts all over his car. I'm not a master tech by any means but at this point I've seen enough expensive mistakes that I'd rather make them myself.
