Haha. I get a mild case of OCD too if i have a desk etc... Weird.

My love of silence got that extreme that i used to work with a friend that sat at the desk next to me. Not Barrier or anything blocking our view at each other, however it got to a point where we would email each other in coversation instead of looking a meter to the side and actually asking lol

I don't mind a bit of banter around the office and background noise helps. in our industry, it's meant to be loud with people on the phones etc however when it's mindless BS because our junior can't remember what she had for lunch the previous day let alone where a candidate is currently working, pisses me off.

Eg: Yesterday, the boss came in and we were running a brainstorming sesh for this new campaign. He was asking all of us about candidates that we're working with. I could tell you where they worked, how long for and where they lived without looking. The other senior consultant was close. Our junior couldn't even remember surnames accurately! WTF?!!? So when she asks me the same question 3x in a day, I crack the shits.

Back in Bris. Got home just before midnight last night. Plane from Mt Isa was late leaving, but I upgraded to business class, assuming that we would be doing laps of Bris with all the rain.

Chivas ftw, didn't care how late the plane was haha

Also, have all paperwork with me to go get some shiny new rego plates today!

Agree, Mindless conversation is annoying. Also another thing that grinds me is unnecessarily loud phone voices in an office.

Just unnecessarily loud voices In General Scott haha like people that have to talk rediculously loud when they are right next to you, fair enough when there is a lot of background noise and you are gonna struggle to hear but when there isn't and they are like yelling.

we have one of those, he also puts his phone on speaker so its double loud voice! Last week I had on noise cancelling bud type ear phones and proper industrial noice cancelling ear muffs and I could still hear him when there was a break in the music

He's calling you a pom bloody smash 'im

He gets it

    • KYBs are typically twin tube, putting them in the lower tier of desireability. Do you just want to replace worn out ones for the lowest cost? I mean, you wouldn't just replace one end of a car, if the rears are a similar age to the fronts, then they are probably nowhere near what they should be, and likely won't be great against brand new fronts. So, to spend ~$800 on 2nd tier dampers, when you could get a decent set of MCA coilovers for <$4k.....? As to the strut tops. 1st up, the Sparesbox site specifically tells you that they are not correct for an R33. Beyond that, why do you think you need them?
    • That's not very Toyota of the Toyota!
    • Bringing an old thread back to life Looking to put some new front shocks in the r33Gtst and the KYB still look ok for a road car. Unless there are any other options aroind that price $200 a shock?  I’d like to replace the strut tops also, is this the correct KYB no. For the strut top, KSM7124?  https://www.sparesbox.com.au/products/kyb-strut-top-mount-ksm7124?srsltid=AfmBOoq-HDru8wSlLnQrhU9gCw_uYdKg8gUQzONY-EQOdnI5iXOWEUjY 341287 appears to be the front KYB shocks part no.  thanks all
    • LandCruiser used to get a fluid flush every 12 to 18 months.   Only because it was about that often the electric motor on the master for brake assist kept dieing and needing to come off.
