Rb26 Manley Rods.

Hi guys

Building my 2nd rb26.

My first used eagle rods this one has manley.

Quik question

The torque sheet supplied for the cap ARP bolts shows all different torques for different bolt part numbers

.. i narroweed it down to 4 different ones as the ones i have are 7/16 head...

91ftlb for 1 part number

95ftlb for 3 bolt part numbers

105ftlb for 1 part number

Problem is the numbers dont relate to anything on the box or any paperwork....

My eagle rods torque was 43ftlb or there abouts i figured

Maby this sheet is wrong?

Also arp 2000 and -19 are shown on bolt head

Ok just got a reply from manley they say i should have 3/8 not 7/16... not sure of this is for the bolt head?

Torque for 3/8 is 60ftlb.... now i gotta wait for another msg from california lol

You should really be going off stretch, not torque.

Measure the thread OD on the bolt to see if its 7/16" or 3/8". 3/8" bolts are the norm for most RB rods.

Thanks mate was just confusion with the head of the bolt i have 3/8 but they have 7/16 head all sorted 60ftlb
