nice videos - looked like you pulled up short of the nuts :) Had to lol a little when you turned the wheel well after it was all locked up though! hehe

I've got to say I think you should be in the Modified Road Registered class rather than the Production Road Reg class. Car looks modified to me! Good to see more Jap turbo cars turning up out there :)

Turning the wheel You can only but try/hope.... :whistling:

Cars pretty much stock....Build to production sports car CAMs specs.... Stock ecu, turbo, inlet, outlet manifold, stock brakes, motor.... Only real mods is the camber arms and coil overs, cage so I have a fighting chance if I go over on my lid. I don't care what class I was in, just turned up for fun. It will be a once a year thing for me. Could be worse, look at the AC cobra.... Built DJR race motor, hoilenger gear box, nissan diff.... Running in MK sports....

I can see your perspective, but it isn't CAMS Production Sports Car racing, it's a class MGCCQ made to give near stock road cars a class to race in away from the stripped-out, caged-up race cars they were previously luimped in with. Cars are supposed to comply with QLD Transport rules and must have a cat. Minimal mods allowed in Prod Road Reg, basically exhaust, springs and shocks. Any more than that and it's in Modified Road Reg. At least that's the way they explained it to me before I entered. When I was getting close to the record I had officials checking if I had a pod filter or intercooler!

Was entered as Mk Sports..... people complained, It's listed under CAMs as a sports car, but not under FIA.

Then they enter me as 4 wheel drive Forced induction..... My car is 2 wheel drive

Then Mod production car.... Someone complained because I was not entered in the series and would muck up there points... Plus it's a sports car not a production car.....

All the other R33s GTST where entered in the Inv cars class, the other drivers where o.k. with it be cause my car was pretty much stock other than the cage which weights 80 plus kg.... Pretty much about the same as a interior of the car. Still got electric windows and mirrors, on road tires.....I just wanted to have a some fun....... Which I did....

But it's motor sport...Every ones got a opinion.....Whinny bottoms are going to Whinny bottom..... ;)
