Fpr Question

hey guys, i bought a skyline, about 2 weeks ago and noticed that the fuel pressure regulator is actually not rigged up?

i have no idle, to keep the car alive i have to keep the revs at 2000rpm, its very rough,

could the fpr not being rigged up have something to do with this,

Yes that could have something to do with it. It might not be a fpr anyway, neos have vac referenced fuel dampners.

And seriously, how cheap wad the car and why did you buy it? If you buy a project with issues you really need to know your sit to fix it.

well its not the neo engine,

i dont see how price of the car has anything at all to do with it, i bought it for the engine to use in another car, i will be rebuilding it.

an idle issue in my eyes isnt a big deal just need to diagnose the problem,

Sorry guys that I didnt realise it wasnt a neo engine from the first post

I stand by my comment, if you buy a project you need to know your shit to get it going, other peoples problems are always the hardest to deal with.

Anyway, to start fresh and answer your question clearly ---

Yes, the FPR not being hooked up would affect your idle.
