Almost completely standard R33 GTR VSPEC. The only modifications are:

Garrett 2860-7 Turbos (R34 GTR N1 Spec) - Only fitted to remove the risk of standard ceramic turbo causing engine issues.
X-FORCE Stainless dumps - Came with Turbos
17inch BBS LM Wheels (new tyres) - 3 piece

Everything including exhaust is standard. My plan was to keep the car standard and it took me a long time to find an unmolested example but I am now heading in a different direction so the car has to go. I had bought this car to occasionally take to a track day but after doing more research am concerned the rb26 is not the right engine for this so have kept it in my garage.

Car has recently been on the dyno and has had a compression test:
1 - 165
2 - 170
3 - 165
4- 172
5 - 170
6 - 170

Has new spark plugs and recent injector service with timing belt etc major service completed.

There is the typical sill crush on the drivers side (I had the passenger side fixed) and at some stage the rear quarter panel has been replaced. However the body shop (I can provide contact) checked that all the structural welds are original and the underbody is in surprisingly good shape compared to most I have seen.

I can provide more information if required.

Looking for 18k, PM for mobile details.

  • 2 months later...

I have been bipolar but this is for sale now and I want it gone.

This is garaged and rarely driven, it was going to be a project so everything that looked suss has been looked at. This includes cv boots being replaced in the last month.

Price is slightly negotiable!

    • I haven't....but a poorly made one would terrify me. Surely a good second hand one is the go, as they don't work hard and no-one wants to keep one after they are finished with it A big consideration would be the weight of the shell you are putting on it....is it a fully dressed chassis or just the body
    • Not stock. All remade. Mostly looks stock because the pipes run to and from the standard holes in the inner guard to get to the return flow FMIC. I'm not sure which question you're trying to ask, because it seems like "stock position" vs "stock position".
    • Hey, it's a GT-R, it's just as significant a moment as mine😁 It's not ideal when things are uncertain; I'm the type of person that always has a set plan for things in life so being unsure of this plan puts me in a weird place mentally.
    • Hows your intake piping? Are you still running stock? Having in the stock AFM position would mean, if the BOV was shut/venting out, it'd create the almost stalling kind of effect right // "the rich pulse behaviour" due to MAF thinking air is flowing ? But this would be better than having the bov in the stock position + MAF on/just before cross over piping right?
    • Essentially, yes. Although I wouldn't put the AFM on the crossover pipe. I'd want to put it into what amounts to the correct size tube, which is more easily done in the intercooler pipework. I bought a mount tube for card style AFM that replaces the stock AFM - although being a cheap AliExpress knockoff, it had no flange and I had to make and weld my own. But it is the same length and diameter as the stock RB AFM, goes on my airbox, etc etc. I don't have a sick enough rig to warrant anything different, and the swap will take 5 minutes (when I finally get around to it and the injectors & the dyno tune).
