Good way to pin point is to get a piece of hose, stick one end in your ear and poke the other one around the engine bay. Or if your missus is a nurse like mine then an old stethoscope is perfect :P

Personally I don't like spraying soapy water around my engine bay, too many shiny parts to have to clean up afterwards :P

Had another go could only get about 5psi into it. I will have to get a bigger compressor to get anymore just takes to long.

But I found 2 leaks and fixed them. When I finished and opened the oil fill cap the biggest woosh of comprssed air came out is that good?

It's what should happen by the way your testing it yes, so perfectly normal. It means that there was pressure in there. Because of the way your testing it with the intake pipe/pcv, you may get leaks from areas that don't see boost, like the cam cover seals.
