Dodgy C34 Fuel Gauge

Hey chaps,

The fuel gauge in my Stag has started playing up. Sometimes I'll be right at the bottom when I get in the car, but slowly come up once I've turned the car on. Other times it will have dropped a bit and will come up when the car is turned on.

Any suggestions?

Try cleaning the carbon track contacts on the sender in the fuel tank, they get dirty over time.

Cheers chaps. I'll give it a go tomorrow. It's only happened since I had the plugs off the top of the fuel tank, so I'll check the connections there too.
