Chris's idler bearing may have done the same... waiting on diagnosis.

I think one of my cam breather fittings popped out a little. There was a slight squeal but it wasn't there today as I pushed it back in.

Just like a poo. :laugh:

Both my idler and tensioner bearings were done with the timing belt a couple weeks ago. I think the noise might actually be coming from the power steering or a/c pulley.

Apart from that I had a great day. Massive turnout, lots of fun :D

It might be over tightened on the tensioner putting too much pressure on the belt causing the noise and putting lots of heat into both items.

You will know if this is the case by bits of timing belt getting stuck on the bearings

cant start the car without the pulleys there unless u want a broken engine lol.

Know the old long screwdriver listening tool trick? if not google it and try it on diff parts of the engine to narrow down the area
