Rb25 Boost Question

Hey guys, got a question, I've just replaced the turbo on my RB25 with an eBay special (which actually looks the goods btw and is working fine). However, the internal wastegate on the turbo is set too high, I ran my car to 16psi before I backed off the throttle for fear of blowing something. My question is, hypothetically, what is the max boost I can run with stock injectors and FPR, but I have a gtr pump, intercooler and nistune ecu?

I'd appreciate the advice. Wanna know what I can do before buying another wastegate or modding this one.

Take it to a tuner because you can run it as high as u want but your injectors will max out and you'll have plenty of troubles. Save urself some $$$ and get it tuned.

But that's the problem, no matter what the tune is I'm fearing that the wastegate is physically set too high (20psi I found out).

No matter how good the tuner is isn't 20psi too high?

I've been told 14psi is the absolute max for stock injectors, is this true?

PSI is dependent on how much the turbo really is flowing. 14PSI on your turbo is different to 14PSI on any other turbo in the world.

It needs to go to a dyno, ASAP. It isn't possible to know if "14psi" is too much or too little for the setup you have listed.
