Ok, call me ignorant - But I don't get it !!! Why does the drift style look mean different wheels on the front and rear ??? I don't reckon that looks good at all !!

Seems to me that the reason that the wheels are different on the rear is because when drifting, you chew up heaps of rubber, so you take you good rears off.

But why maintain that look ???? Why not put the normal wheels back on after drifting ??

Am I dense or something ?? I don't get it !!

I thought that was for drag look.... you put in standard rims & tyres at the back to get more sidewall flex when you launch hard.

Dunno about drift, maybe the front was different for more sharper turns so it's easier to turn suddenly and get the rear end start sliding.... correct me if I'm wrong. Or maybe ur right, coz the rear just get chewed up too often, so ppl just put cheap tyres at the back, which means putting on normal rim & tyres, similar to factory one? Low profile & wide tyres are very expensive!!!!
