Name: Scott, but literally everyone calls me Sciby, including my 2 year old godson and before you ask, it's pronounced "Sky-bee".

Age: 27.

Location: Central Queensland.

Car: Don't ask what I drive now, but just had a loan approved, so I'm about to hunt down an R33.

Occupation: Sysadmin (professional geek) at the same place as Squizz.

No doubt will meet some/all of you when I finally get the new car.

we have to take our car back to get the problems sorted.. there still there..

the car has been at either teh car yard or mechanics more than we've actually had it to drive?!

Hi Sciby.... you still with OCAU?

I've got a 94 GTS25T Silver with a crappy red front bar

Just getting into the drag scene alternating drives with my first born Mick

AKA Lanos Driver.

I've owned 70 or 80 cars.....mostly orphans..... and do most of the work

on them myself.

To the wankers who posted on a recent SDU thread regarding over 50's

drivers, I see more dangerous young drivers than old, especially when

it's raining. :)

ONARUN For sheer driving pleasure the Skyline tops the list followed by Alfa Romeo Berlina 1750, 1750 GTV,Triumph TR3A,BMW 3.0 si,

Marcos V6GT,Hillman Imp (modded front camber makes all the difference)

I wrote off a Honda 9S with 4000miles on the clock at Oran Park.

Then there was Jag E Type 3.8, several M11 3.8 Jags, a handfull of Triumps.... one MD the rest Mk11 PI's, 2x Mk11A Sprites, MGB(big disapointment , that one) Izusu Bellet(new) Honda Civic (new)

Suberu 4x4 waggon(new) Mazda E4100 based motorhome(self built)

couple of minis of course,EH Holden, just long enough to drive it home ,recover from the trauma, and sell it, Citroin something 85model,

and so it goes on.

Right now I've got the Skyline, 82 Range Rover with P76 motor 89

4spd auto and interior+ Recaros. The 3.0 si is going but deregistered,

minus front sidewindows(thanks you pricks) Marcos is a rolling body/chassis awaiting new engine gearbox..........suggestions anyone??

And now these arthritic doddery old fingers are tired of typing so i'll stop

Guest Vspecman

It's good to read something about local Skyline owners----a diverse bunch of people joined by a common interest in GTR's.

I have enjoyed breaking away from the conservatism of Porsche ownership and owning a car that is truely wild.

I take my car to Queensland Raceway regularily and it is always a buzz to demonstrate that it is as fast as Porsche 996 twin turbos that have mods and sticky tyres, particularily when the engine in my car is much smaller that the Porsche.

Most embarassing moment: being mistaken for slip's father
