Hey.

Just had a crack at changing my timing belt on the rb25 and my crank pully keeps breaking f$(ckn cast jap crap pulleys.

I'm useing a three swinging finger type puller. never had trouble on cars with real pulleys lol these things are crap!!

Any suggestions in getting this thing off before my don't f$&k with me hammer comes out!

Tried to wd it tighten back up and lossen, hitting it with timber. Doing my head in. So much for my quick belt change.........

Yeh gotta do your research before pulling things apart and blaming the manufacturer when you do something wrong...

Nissan crank pulleys don't use the claw pullers. You use the two threaded holes on the front.

UNF is imperial not metric

Indeed. Metric is metric coarse and metric fine. Imperial is UNC and UNF. Glad this was here for me to read I'm doing my belt next year.

Just adding you the metric thing, thhere isn't just one fine option in metric, there's quite a few. If the pitch isn't specified it is always coarse. If it is a fine thread the pitch would be specified.
