EOI: 1998 Skyline R34 GTT.

As I take train to work every weekdays, so its my weekend car for going out with gf and cruising around. Never been on track or any sort of race. Car is almost completely stock. 99% of the time I drive it like a granny (average 260km per half tank OR 500km per full tank), and that 1% for having fun with little boost haha

Skyline owners manual and 2 keys + alarms included.

Location: Hurstville Sydney NSW

Kms: 98,257 km as at 21st September 2013

Rego: Until 9 July 2014 (9 months+)

Transmission: Manual

Interior Condition: Excellent

- Driver and Passenger seats are always covered with seat covers.

Exterior Condition: Great

- I wash my car once every week or 2 weeks and always garaged, so condition is great. Never in accident. Never scratched. However theres still swirls that can not be removed by just washing the car. Condition will be excellent after some detailing.

Engine Condition: Excellent

- Service around every 5,000 kms.

- Got the car with around 89,500 km, then done a regular service @ 92,550 km, then a major 100k kms full service @ 98,215 km. The car has always been serviced at Perfect Run even before my ownership of the car (an experienced and picky Japanese mechanic, he himself own a R33 GTR as well). I have detailed receipts for both services.

- Filled up with Shell V-Power (98RON) every single time.

- Warm up (I drive slowly to warm it up, not idling) and cool down car (turbo timer) every single time as well.

Major 100k kms service included:

- Elf 5W-40 fully synthetic engine oil

- Oil filter

- Elf DOT4 brake fluid

- Long life coolant

- Platinum spark plugs

- Nissan genuine timing belt

- Nissan genuine water pump

- Nissan genuine thermostat

- Nissan genuine camshaft seals

- Nissan genuine crankshaft seal

- Nissan genuine crank angle sensor

- Brand new radiator

Goodies:

- BC BR Adjustable Coilovers (With owners manual etc)

- Aftermarket quiet exhaust

- Turbo Smart manual boost controller

- Greddy Turbo Timer (With owners manual)

- HKS SSQV BOV (I will also supply the OEM BOV)

- Factory Xenon HID height adjustable Headlights

- Alpine CD/mp3 player with audio jack connections (With owners manual)

- Genuine Skyline floor mats

- Aftermarket high quality spoiler (previous owner got rid of the OEM spoiler)

- LED number plate lights

- OEM stock R34 GTT rims (plasti dip-ed, can remove it easily)

Number Plate: Optional.

Extra:

- Have a pair of JJR R34 Tail lights, one side of the parker light is faulty; Brakes lights work well on both sides. (Happy to include it for new buyer, or else I will sell it separately lol)

Reason for Sale: Currently seeking a R34 GTR. Happy to swap my R34 GTT + my cash with an excellent in and out condition R34 GTR.

    • They've had some weird failures on their brake actuators. One of them was because they added some kind of lubricant to the factory fill brake fluid that aftermarket brake fluid didn't have so it would affect the seals. Another was just mysterious, probably internal corrosion or something eating away at Prius brake actuators. Parts alone for those are a few thousand USD so not a cheap fix.

    • KYBs are typically twin tube, putting them in the lower tier of desireability. Do you just want to replace worn out ones for the lowest cost? I mean, you wouldn't just replace one end of a car, if the rears are a similar age to the fronts, then they are probably nowhere near what they should be, and likely won't be great against brand new fronts. So, to spend ~$800 on 2nd tier dampers, when you could get a decent set of MCA coilovers for <$4k.....? As to the strut tops. 1st up, the Sparesbox site specifically tells you that they are not correct for an R33. Beyond that, why do you think you need them?
    • That's not very Toyota of the Toyota!
    • Bringing an old thread back to life Looking to put some new front shocks in the r33Gtst and the KYB still look ok for a road car. Unless there are any other options aroind that price $200 a shock?  I’d like to replace the strut tops also, is this the correct KYB no. For the strut top, KSM7124?  https://www.sparesbox.com.au/products/kyb-strut-top-mount-ksm7124?srsltid=AfmBOoq-HDru8wSlLnQrhU9gCw_uYdKg8gUQzONY-EQOdnI5iXOWEUjY 341287 appears to be the front KYB shocks part no.  thanks all
