Video Edit Programs

hi guys

i no this is proble the wrong area but i am after a simple easy to use program to cut and make videos,

i am new to this be am a good learner.

example for what i am after is - i have 3x 3 min videos and only want to use bits from each clip to make one.vid.

is there any easy program to use/ download ? mostly using cips from my go pro.

If simple is all you want, then Windows Live Movie Maker will do the trick. If you've got Windows 7 then you already have it

For simple edit, use Windows Movie Maker for Windows. Or use iMovie if you're using Mac. They are easy to use. And also you can try Sony Vegas. Goodluck!

Anyone got some free software that's a little more advanced? I have been using VideoPad Pro, but the video and audio not syncing properly is really shitting me these days. Too much stuffing around to get it to match up again. I also tried Wondershare, and while I like the effects it has, it doesn't have many good transitions. It also puts a watermark on finished videos unless you upgrade to the Pro version, but don't wanna pay for it when I'm not totally happy.

Anyone tried Lightworks? Have heard it's outrageously complicated to use. Would rather something a bit simpler, but with lots of options. Any suggestions?

yeah i was just after a program to cut and chop my go pro clips and ad music over lay and or words - i have played with a few and none really have all the features just bits.

its only for me at home and to chuck on youtube not a pro movie maker - any recommendations?

Hey mate,

I use Adobe Premier, and Adobe After Effects CS6.

I am aware they aren't free, but you can download a trial version if you've just got one or 2 videos to do. I wouldn't say they are SUPER HARD to use, but they are definitely more advanced then your basic Windows Movie Maker / iMovie.

For reference, I pay $50 a month for all Adobe Software. Cheap as chups.
