Overdrive Stuck?

I got a rb25de Neo and transmission in a a31 but apparently it's only getting 3 gears. I was reading up and seeing that maybe it's stuck in power mode or the overdrive isn't connected?

Help.

Tomorrow I'm gonna work on the wiring. I'm gonna check the power mode switching pin out on the ecu and see if it's getting a +ve signal and put a switch on it and see if when turned off if it will make a difference.

you would be getting 4 gears if that was the case, overdrive acts as the 5th gear.

the a / b solenoid's are probably faulty.

I thought it was a 3 speed and overdrive. 4 forward gears

Transmission went into safe mode yesterday. Taking it out tomorrow.
