Swap Injector To Aftermarket One

Hi guys i just want to know if i swapped the stock rb26 injector to 555cc injector i know the ecu have to be tune for but if just install it with the same ecu does it will work??? The injector will create heat ????

No, it'll run very rich and probably not drive at all.

Also I'm not sure I understood you correctly, are you wanting to swap out all the injectors for aftermarket ones or just one injector? Because that certainly won't work.

Car will idle for about 5mins until the plugs foul.

When I swapped my stock RB20 injectors for 555cc RB26 (with resistor) the car started and idled but after bout 5 or so mins started to stall/rough idle. Enough time to check for any fuel leaks before sending it for a tune.

actually you will be able to drive the car with the 550's in it if its a gtr... i have had to do this before once apon a time....

it will run rich and use alot of fuel and make the spark plugs go black but it will work without too much hassles until you get a tune.

i would not suggest driving it too much like this though.

as above, should run enough for testing/short drive to dyno, throw some new plugs in before going on the dyno

If u have a powerfc just change the injector correction vaule and you will be able to drive tothe tuner.
