SIR-JD
Hi guys, I have just put a deposite on a very built 30/26. The place that built it is in NSW and was called pro engines http://proengines.com.au/packages.html Have you guys had any experience with them? Herd of them? I ask because they have shut up shop so I can't ask them about the build. Cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/432402-3026-builder/ Share on other sites
Shoota_77
Probably would have been an awesome idea to ask BEFORE you put down the deposit!! I've got their sump adapter and seems very well made. A whole motor is a whole different story though. Why have they stopped building engines I wonder??? SIR-JD
Yeh that is the reason I'm asking the question... It's only a very small deposit so that is no problem. On the web site they have said they are continuing to make parts/adapters but have stopped building engines. Thanks for the reply buddy. SIR-JD
Yeh and much easier to make money make-sell. The engine is split in head, bottom and sump so my engine builder can have a look before I hand over the hard earned. Anyone else herd of them? Duncan
Absolutely, they have been making quality parts for RBs for years. Also Greg was an active member on here for a while. I have one of their sump adapters in my rb30 stagea; I did have a problem with a leak but I believe it was an installation error not manufacturing..it was fixed and has been running strong for about 150,000klm in 5 years Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/432402-3026-builder/#findComment-7043800 Share on other sites
zebra
Greg changed jobs, hence no longer building engines Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/432402-3026-builder/#findComment-7043807 Share on other sites
