Recommended Posts

hey guys I have a r33 gtst s2

my baby has a standard exhaust and im looking for a upgrade...

im wanting a 3 inch only turbo back stainless steel mandrill bent system...

not interested in cannons as they are to loud a want something legal so two mufflers or a single would be perfect.

im wanting a bolt up exhaust with no modifications thanks

I live in Narre Warren vic so if anyones keen to sell and is local let me no

msg me on 0405 114 187

thanks guys Dean

Any aftermarket exhaust you find WILL be over the DB limit. The stock exhaust just passes for legal.

92-93DB is what most of the quiet aftermarket system are. If you want legal, keep it stock.

sounds perfect mate..

can u send me a couple of pics of it buddy ?

just a few questions

has it got a hi flow cat?

has it got a cannon on the back and is it quite loud?

where are you located ?

my mobile is 0405 114 187 (Dean )

thanks again mate

Hey guys, can anyone help me out I got a 3" exhaust put on my R33 gtsy today and well its way too loud I mean a five minute drive was almost too much and I expected it to be louder but I didn't expect it to be this loud especially considering it has a muffler not a cannon, and it looks as if the exhaust bloke has just welded an extra piece to the original dump to bring it out to 3" could that be the reason for it being so loud? Or any other ideas? Its majorly louder than any cannons I've even seen?

    • All of your suspension bushes/bolts etc, should also only ever be tightened when the car is sitting with full weight too.   IE, jack it back up, shove a heap of stuff down so you can lower the wheels onto so the car is "on the ground" but you have room to get under it.   It's why when properly done, you should be able to remove the shock and spring, but the arms won't go to 100% droop. If you don't do the above, you'll destroy your bushes.

    • These arrived today! Sadly I'm going to probably be smart and enjoy the car as is over the summer/sunny period and save the ~2 weeks downtime it'd take to swap the heads over and tune later in the year. Maybe. It's going to be pretty damn tempting seeing these bolt on funs just sitting in storage when they're ready to go. There's a non-zero chance I end up @The Bogan'ing it.
