And the I got a RB25DET CAS and installed it there. Now the cas cranks, got spark, got fuel..and a really loud BANG. backfires..but do not start.

Yes, I used a timingligth to set the timing to 15 degrees - used the AEM software to get it spot on.

Nope, the aem cas disk only fit one way. so thats not it. what else could be the reason that it only backfires? I got the timing og the 4th mark.

could it be faulty psparkplugs?

I have tested them, and two of them have a weak spark. I have orderd 6 new ones now.

Is it a big difference if the software is setup to series 1 coils and not series 2?
