hello im paul i just got a r33 gtst. my car has a problem in transmission im hearing grinding sounds on 2nd to 3rd gear and 4th in low rpm about 1,800 to be exact but when i putting power on it will be gone.i already changed the gear oil and differential oil by using 75-90 castrol but there no change. i already check underneath the car for some strange things it was none of them. but i heard the sound is coming from the transmission. what could it be? its not the syncro i supposed because the car is shifting well.. can anyone can advised me what it is or what to do? ad if u can recomend a good mechanic to have a look at it in victoria

tnx so much

Could be the clutch not be completely disengaging: history on clutch being replaced/bled? Could be a clutch fork pivot bolt going too, but unlikely.

i really have no idea of the history of the clutch but for its look like stock and hasnt been replaced.. even though i release the clutch theres no noise but when it comes in certain rpm before 2,000 thats the time the you will hear a grinding noise,, i really have no idea whats wrong with and where to get it fixed.. im just noob in skyline,, thanks
