okay so I'm used to having to maintain the pins on a sliding caliper to avoid uneven inner/outer pad wear.

I'm now up for changing pads for the first time on R33 GTR Brembo calipers and I've noticed the outer pads are around 2mm while the inners are 5mm, otherwise radial/longitudinal wear is even.

Is this something very common due caliper/toe alignment settings, seen advice that toe puts different loads on inner/outer pads within fixed caliper braking systems

or

is it something that will probably be cured by rebuild part#41120-12U25

Then as I don't have air gun, any top tips on piston removal without a compressor?

You can lever them out, although the r34 brembo's I kitted had alloy pistons so you will need to be careful with them.

Don't split the halves, the small Oring seals are not in the kit and apparently the halves are not supposed to be unbolted.

I think I have two kits so if anyone else needs one...
