Weird Starting Problem/ Fuel Problem

Hey all

My series 2 stagea has started playing up, sometimes when i try to start it up it wont fire everything is cracking but it just dosnt start. It happen and i had to call RAA and when he rocked up he put a squirt of fuel into the pipe at the rear of the plenum for the boost gauge, and it fired start away but kept running.

Its a strange fuel problem just wondering if any one else has had this issue before

Perhaps your fuel pump is on the way out?

What mods are on it, aftermarket pump?

No nothing aftermarket really just a fmic and boost t, the fuel pump kicks in i can hear it, the raa guy was stumped as to what it was.

Lots of things it could be but for starters

1. many owners find if you are getting low in the tank and park on a very cambered road the pick-up in the tank is left high and dry

2. pump could be on the way out (but check filter in engine bay first).
